Mixed Lettuce Leaves this mix of quality seeds gives fast results � either sown in the ground or in containers. Cucumber �La Diva� Fast-growing and vigorous, �La Diva� produces plentiful crops of cigar-shaped, bitter-free mini cucumbers. The ridged, smooth-skinned fruits are seedless, tender and crisp. Deliciously sweet and juicy, they are superb for salads or for slicing lengthways for crudit�s and dips and a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as minerals and antioxidants. Care Information

How to grow your salad

Sow indoors any time 1.5cm (�in) deep in seed compost. Water well and place in a light, warm position, away from draughts and strong sunlight. A temperature of 20�C (68�F) is ideal. Keep moist but do not overwater.
Seedlings should start to appear in 7-21 days. Transplant as soon as seedlings are large enough to handle, to avoid damaging their roots.
Harden off and plant out to final position in May, spacing 45cm (18in) apart in a pot, growing bag or border of an unheated greenhouse, or in a sunny position in a bed or large container outdoors. Dig in some well-rotted compost into the soil before planting if growing in the ground.
Or sow outdoors, April to May, 5cm (2in) deep, directly where they are to grow, in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Sow seeds 45cm (18in) apart. Keep moist and weed-free. Seedlings should start to appear in 7-21 days. Early sowings will benefit from cloche protection.

Harvest from May to October. Pick regularly to encourage further cropping.

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
