Description

A fantastic collection of orange, lemon, and lime trees, unlocking the door to 'grow your own' in your garden. This trio of citrus trees will grow and fruit perfectly well in your UK garden. Sweetly scented white flowers contrast well against deep green citrus-fragranced foliage - plus the fruits are packed full of vitamin C, so are delicious and supremely good for you too!

Trees arrive as young plants, roughly 20-30cm tall including their 9cm pots, and are ready to grow on, making them a great value way to get your hands on these superb citrus plants.

You'll receive one each of the following:

Lemon 'Citron': Hardy down to -5C, sweetly scented blossom in late spring, producing full-size fruit from August onwards. Perfect for drinks and cooking.

Orange 'Calamondin': Also known as 'Panama Orange', hardy down to -5C, this attractive dwarf orange is a cross of the tangy kumquat and more familiar zesty tangerine, packed full of vitamin C. Height to 150cm.

'Mexican Lime': This attractive green citrus produces characteristic green fruits and fragrant white blossom, and is tolerant of temperatures down to 5C, therefore will need protection in winter.

Grown from cuttings, these Citrus plants produce fruit reliably.

Top Tips

We recommend using our Soluble Citrus Fertiliser to ensure your trees grow into big, healthy specimens and, most importantly, bear lots of juicy fruit!

For best results, bring indoors to cool area for winter.

Feed with specialist feed every month in spring and summer growth - they are hungry fellows.

Care Information

The sweetly-fragranced flowers appear all year round, especially in late winter, and fruit ripens up to 12 months later - so plants are often in flower and fruiting at the same time.
Citrus tend not to thrive in centrally heated homes, so from mid-Jun to late September, give plants a treat and transfer them outside to make the most of the available sunshine - but remember they are not frost tolerant so will need bringing under cover if cold nights threaten.
In summer, water freely - ideally with rainwater, while in winter you can reduce the amount - allowing the surface to partially dry out before watering again. Always allow excess water to drain away.
Overwatering in winter is one of the commonest problems, so try to keep them on the dry side.
Only minimal pruning is required to reshape or remove dead or damaged shoots.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
