There is no better or more welcome sign that spring is coming than seeing gorgeous daffodils and tulips flowering in gardens, parks and along roads, and this superb planter means that you can enjoy these wonderful flowers anywhere!

The metal bucket planter contains everything needed to grow wonderfully cheerful daffodils and tulips on a patio, balcony, or anywhere in the garden. The rope handles and brushed white finish give it an attractive rustic look that will suit any style of garden, from cottage to contemporary.

Featuring a mixture of wonderfully flamboyant, fully double Narcissi and complementary Tulips, the bulbs will burst into flower in March and April and will definitely bring a smile to the face of anyone lucky enough to receive them as a gift. They�re literally sunshine in a pot!

All you need to do is plant the bulbs in autumn, as late as December, and they�ll light up your garden in spring. As the planter is reusable, once the bulbs have died back you can plant the bucket with summer bedding, and the Narcissi/Tulips will return every spring, with more flowers year after year.

Top Tips

Bulbs can be planted as late as December, but it�s best to do it as soon as possible in autumn so that they can establish a good root system before the weather becomes too cold.

Planting Advice for your Bulbs

Plant bulbs at twice the depth of the height of the bulb and four times their width apart. e.g. 5cm tall bulbs need to be planted 10cm below the surface of the ground and 20cm apart.
They are fine to plant even if a little green growth is showing, they�ll just need a good watering when you plant them, and then only when the soil is dry.
Leave them in the ground once they die back for flowers again next year.
While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.

Aftercare Advice

Water frequently and ensure pots don�t dry out.

Cutting Back

Once flowering is over, it is important to leave the leaves on until they have died right down. This allows the bulb to store food and produce flowers the following year.
Never tie up daffodil leaves or cut it back whilst still green.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
